Application process
- Submission of the completed application form, all required documents, and the checklist of mandatory documents to recruitment@police.sarnia.on.ca. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
- Applicants will be required to participate in the Ontario Fitness Pin Test and achieve a minimum score of 75%. The fitness test will be part of the candidate’s overall evaluation to determine suitability for the position however is not considered to be a pass or fail assessment. - Applicants will be required to complete a Pre-Background Questionnaire prior to being interviewed.
- An interview will be conducted in front of a panel of recruiters. If successful in the interview, the applicant will be invited to move forward in the selection process.
- Medical examination.
- Psychological examination.
- Background investigation.
- Conditional offer of employment contingent on satisfactory results of all aspects of the recruitment process.
