Drugs seized during search warrant on Confederation Street

On March 19, 2025, at 7:20 PM, the Major Case Action Team (MCAT) with support from the Emergency Response Team (ERT), and the Canine Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Confederation Street near Vidal Street South in Sarnia.
A search of the residence and a vehicle resulted in the seizure of the following:
- 13.95 grams of suspected uncut fentanyl
- 4.84 grams of crystal methamphetamine
- 0.66 grams of street-ready fentanyl
- Drug trafficking paraphernalia
- A small quantity of cash
The estimated street values:
- Cut fentanyl: $5,000 – $10,000 (depending on cutting ratio)
- Crystal methamphetamine: Approximately $250
Shane Arlin MARSH (51-years-old) of Confederation Street in Sarnia was held for a bail hearing and charged with:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine)
- Two breaches of a release order
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
