The Sarnia Police Service has successfully resolved the matter at the Sarnia Bay waterfront area and the public is welcome to return.

At 5:50pm, the Sarnia Police Service received a call regarding a person in crisis operating a motor vehicle. The vehicle was located positioned nosed up to the waters edge and the vehicle was secured in position by officers on scene with the use of police vehicles.

Police began negotiating with the male party and he was later successfully apprehended, without incident, at 8:00pm.

Sarnia Police were assisted by members of Lambton EMS and Sarnia Fire and Rescue to bring this matter to a successful conclusion.
